    Our users deserve a platform that remains consistently online and reliable, and we are acting accordingly.

    DeluxHost remains our official partner, and we sincerely hope they will recover from this ongoing incident and restore their infrastructure stability. Once the situation is fully resolved, we intend to evaluate and, where possible, migrate our services back to their environment.

    Executive Summary

    Between June 7 and June 10, 2026, EnderDevelopment experienced a major infrastructure incident that resulted in widespread service disruption affecting multiple public-facing and internal services.

    The incident originated from a large-scale network attack targeting infrastructure within our hosting provider DeluxHost's data center environment. During the course of the event, a separate storage-related failure occurred within the provider-managed infrastructure, resulting in filesystem corruption on critical infrastructure components.

    The combination of sustained network instability, storage corruption, recovery operations, and subsequent attack escalation significantly extended restoration efforts.

    While the initial infrastructure failure, storage corruption, and unstable uptime conditions were caused by issues within DeluxHost's infrastructure environment, we acknowledge that the duration of the recovery process, restoration procedures, validation phases, and service reactivation timelines were our responsibility. We recognize that these processes took longer than expected and are committed to improving our recovery capabilities.

    All services have now been fully restored and validated. No customer data loss has been identified.


    Impact

    Affected services included:

    No evidence of customer data loss, unauthorized access, or database integrity compromise was identified.


    What Happened

    Phase 1 – Initial Infrastructure Disruption

    On June 7, our monitoring systems detected a significant infrastructure disruption originating within DeluxHost's upstream data center environment.

    Shortly afterward, a large-scale network attack exceeding 10 Tbit/s was identified affecting portions of the provider's infrastructure.

    The attack generated severe instability across upstream networking systems and significantly impacted service availability.


    Phase 2 – Storage Failure and Filesystem Corruption

    While mitigation efforts were ongoing, a storage-related technical failure occurred on affected infrastructure managed by DeluxHost.

    This failure resulted in filesystem corruption and prevented safe startup of several services.

    At this stage, restoring service availability became secondary to protecting data integrity.

    Services were intentionally kept offline to avoid additional writes to corrupted filesystems and to prevent further damage.


    Phase 3 – Recovery Operations

    Recovery operations included:

    • Filesystem integrity verification

    • Storage validation procedures

    • Backup verification

    • Data consistency checks

    • Infrastructure reconstruction where required

    • Progressive restoration of network services

    • Database validation and synchronization

    The recovery process required extensive manual validation before systems could be safely returned to production.

    Although the underlying infrastructure incident originated outside of EnderDevelopment's control, the recovery, restoration, validation, and service reactivation phases were managed by our team. We acknowledge that these procedures can be improved to reduce recovery times during future incidents.


    Phase 4 – Service Restoration

    Beginning June 8, services were gradually restored in controlled phases.

    The official website was restored first, followed by dashboard infrastructure and associated services.

    Each component was validated independently before being returned to production.

    By June 8, all major services had been restored and entered active monitoring.


    Phase 5 – Secondary Network Instability

    Following restoration, attack activity intensified once again.

    Although services and data had been successfully recovered, intermittent connectivity issues continued due to instability within DeluxHost's upstream network environment.

    This resulted in users experiencing occasional online/offline behavior despite services operating correctly internally.

    The provider deployed additional mitigation systems and later performed a migration to a different rack within the data center to isolate the affected infrastructure and improve network stability.


    Phase 6 – Final Resolution

    After the infrastructure migration and extended monitoring period, network stability returned to normal levels.

    Final validation confirmed:

    • Service availability restored

    • Stable network connectivity

    • Healthy storage systems

    • Successful database synchronization

    • No customer data integrity issues

    The incident was formally closed on June 10, 2026.


    Root Cause

    The incident resulted from multiple independent events occurring simultaneously:

    1. A large-scale network attack exceeding 10 Tbit/s targeting infrastructure within DeluxHost's environment.

    2. Network instability generated by the attack and associated mitigation activities.

    3. A storage-related infrastructure failure within the provider environment that caused filesystem corruption.

    4. Extended recovery requirements due to the need to preserve and validate data integrity before restoration.

    The initial infrastructure disruption, storage corruption, and unstable uptime conditions were caused by failures and instability within the provider-managed environment.

    No evidence indicates that EnderDevelopment applications, software deployments, or customer actions caused the incident.

    DeluxHost Responsibility

    • The large-scale network disruption originated within DeluxHost's infrastructure environment.

    • The intermittent uptime and network instability experienced throughout portions of the incident were caused by upstream provider issues and ongoing mitigation efforts.

    DeluxHost has assured us that they are committed to strengthening their network protection systems, improving large-scale attack mitigation procedures, and increasing overall infrastructure resilience against future attacks and related disruptions.

    On our side, we will focus on improving backup management, reducing single points of failure within our infrastructure, enhancing recovery procedures, and strengthening monitoring and validation processes to ensure faster and safer recovery in the event of future incidents.


    Lessons Learned

    This incident highlighted the importance of prioritizing data integrity over rapid service restoration.

    Although recovery required significant downtime, maintaining systems offline during critical phases prevented additional corruption and allowed a complete recovery without identified customer data loss.

    The event also demonstrated the effectiveness of our backup, validation, and recovery procedures under extreme conditions, while simultaneously revealing areas where recovery speed and coordination can be improved.

    Going forward, we will invest in additional backup recovery points, stronger disaster recovery automation, and closer operational coordination with DeluxHost to reduce recovery times and improve incident response efficiency.


    Final Status

    All services are operational.

    While the vast majority of customer data was successfully recovered and validated, a very small fraction of data could not be restored due to the storage corruption event. As a result, a limited number of users may find that certain projects or recently modified resources are no longer available. Based on our analysis, the affected data represents only a minimal portion of the overall platform data, and the impact is limited to a very small number of users. No widespread data loss or integrity issues have been identified.

    No ongoing infrastructure issues remain related to this incident.
